I'm Sahra, the founder, designer and one-woman team behind Forie. I've obsessed with fashion since I was a kid customising my Bratz dolls and fell in love with the idea that you could be a completley different person every day of the week depending on what you wore. Fashion, to me, is the purset form of self expression
Florie is a independant ethical fashion house designing small batch clothing for the weird and quirky girls. Each piece is as bold and colourful as the next
The Roots Collection
Every piece in the Roots Collection is named after a real woman in my life.
My nan. My mum. My sister.My mother-in-law. Me. And the archetype of every woman I've ever admired who builds something, who is unbelievably strong and refuses to give up.
I started naming pieces this way because I wanted Florie to feel like something more than just clothes. I want Florie to tell the uplift the stories of women, and it only felt right that I celebrated the women around first <3
Ethical Production
At Florie, we believe that who makes your clothes matters just as much as what they look like.
Every Florie piece is designed by me, Sahra, here in the UK. I create the very first sample by hand before production begins, so every detail is considered and intentional before a single batch is made.
Our pieces are then produced by DZX Apparel, a woman-founded clothing manufacturer established in China in 2011 with over a decade of experience working with independent fashion brands. DZX source fabrics from suppliers who prioritise ethical practices and environmentally responsible production methods, and their commitment to fair wages and safe working conditions is central to how they operate. Every garment goes through multiple quality control checkpoints during production to ensure nothing leaves their facility below standard.
We chose DZX because they share our belief that fashion should be made properly; With care, with thought, and with people at the centre of the process.
Small batch production
Florie operates on a genuine small batch model. We never overproduce. Every collection is made in limited quantities, which means less waste, no deadstock, and nothing sitting in a warehouse unloved. When a batch sells out, it isn't automatically restocked, because we'd rather make less and make it well.
Packaging
Every Florie order is sent in 100% recyclable packaging. Because the care we put into making our pieces should extend to how we send them to you.
Ethical fashion doesn't have to be boring. But it does have to be honest and transparent and this is ours
